Abstract English In the ISO 10156 standard a calculation method has been published for estimation of the "oxidation power" of gas mixtures. A mixture is considered to be more oxidizing than air, when the following condition is satisfied: OP =Sum(i) (Xi * Ci )>= 21. Ci = coeff. of oxygen equivalency. Referent substance is ethane. Table with measured Ci values for O2, air, N2O, NO, NF3 is presented.
Abstract German In der ISO-Norm 10156 wird des weiteren ein Rechenverfahren zur Abschätzung des Oxidationspotentials von Gasgemischen angegeben. Ein Gasgemisch ist danach stärker oxidierend als Luft, wenn folgende Bedingung erfüllt ist: OP= Summe(i) (Xi * Ci )>= 21. Stoffmengenanteil an oxidierendender Komponente i in % ist Xi; Ci=Sauerstoffäquivalenzköffizient. Referenzbrennstoff ist Ethan. Tabelle mit den gemessenen Ci-Werten für O2, Luft, N2O, NO, Cl2, NF3.
